Topic: Managing Absenteeism in the Workplace
Did you know that absenteeism costs the Canadian economy more than $16.6 billion each year, and yet only forty-six percent (46%) of employers track absenteeism? Many employers choose not to track absenteeism for many reasons, including the fact attendance is a difficult issue to address.
Our February e-Learning presentation provides you with the tools you need to understand how to better manage absenteeism in the workplace. The presentation includes the following topics:
- The difference between culpable and non-culpable absenteeism;
- How to address culpable and non-culpable absenteeism (spoiler alert – differently!); and
- How to address attendance issues in the workplace, including attendance policies and attendance management programs.
