Meet the Team
(B.C.L., LL.B., CHRL)
Stuart Ducoffe (B.C.L., LL.B., CHRL) is a seasoned employment and labour lawyer. Stuart is the founder of e2r® and Partner and co-founder of Woolgar VanWiechen Cosgriffe Ducoffe LLP, practicing exclusively in the area of employment and labour law.
Prior to founding e2r® and the law firm, Stuart practiced for many years with one of Canada’s largest and most prestigious Canadian law firms. Stuart obtained his law degrees from McGill University in 1984, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1986. Stuart is one of only a small group of employment and labour lawyers certified by the Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Resources Leader (“CHRL”).
Stuart has advised corporate employers on all matters pertaining to employment law, labour relations, and human rights law. He has appeared before the courts as counsel on behalf of a wide variety of corporate clients as well as administrative tribunals.
Stuart counsels employers with respect to the employment impact of commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, the negotiation of employment contracts, wrongful dismissal litigation, injunction applications, occupational health and safety, employment standards, workers' compensation and human resources communications and strategy.
Stuart provides ongoing advice to some of Canada’s leading public companies and is often consulted by major Canadian media outlets to provide information and insight in employment law and human resources matters. As a dynamic and “down to earth” speaker, Stuart is regularly requested to speak to employee and managerial groups as well as industry associations. He is also a regular contributing author on human resources and legal matters.
Stuart is actively involved in the community and sits on the board of directors of a major Toronto area not for profit which helps people find work from all walks of life.
LEAD ADVISOR - HUMAN RESOURCES
Lindsay joined the e2r® team in 2010. Lindsay is a seasoned human resources professional having worked for many years in the private sector in both union and non-union environments. In particular, Lindsay spent many years working in a unionized environment for one of the country's leading suppliers of office technology. Subsequently Lindsay lead the human resources group for the world's largest producer of soft sided insulated products where she gained international experience servicing clients in the United States, Hong Kong and China as well as being a member of the due diligence team for two international mergers and acquisitions. Lindsay is certified by the Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Resources Leader (“CHRL”).
Currently Lindsay advises clients regarding a wide variety of human resources matters including policy and procedure development, training and development, performance management, recruitment strategies, employee relations and engagement. Lindsay's scope of knowledge also extends to compensation strategy development, and union-management relations.
Lindsay currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mary Centre, a non-profit organization that delivers integrated support services and creates new opportunities for the benefit of the developmentally challenged, their families and the community.
LEAD ADVISOR - LEGAL
Alex graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario.
Alex provides proactive advice and assistance to clients from a management perspective. His practice extends into all areas of employment and labour law, including employment contracts, wrongful dismissals, workplace policies and procedures, employment standards, collective agreements, labour relations, human rights and workplace safety.
Prior to joining e2r®, Alex practiced employment and labour law at a respected human resources law firm. Throughout his career, Alex's approach to advising employers has focused on practical and timely solutions to complex workplace issues.
Alex has also written on a variety of employment law topics, including articles for Lawyers Weekly and Canadian Employment Law Today.
LEAD ADVISOR - LEGAL
Leeora graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor.
Leeora approaches complicated human resource issues from a practical and proactive point of view. Leeora assists clients in drafting workplace policies, employment contracts and providing advice on disciplinary issues and employee exit strategies. Leeora also focuses on the labour relations issues affecting unionized workplaces including grievance arbitration issues, collective bargaining, union certification applications and unfair labour practice complaints.
Prior to joining e2r®, Leeora practiced employment and labour law, representing both provincially and federally regulated employers at an international full service law firm. Throughout the course of her career, Leeora has focused exclusively on advising and representing management in connection with employment standards, discipline and discharge, occupational health and safety, human rights and wrongful dismissal issues.
Leeora's extensive experience in providing practical, solution driven advice, along with her litigation experience, allows her to assist clients by navigating the employment law waters before trouble emerges. In this context, Leeora's primary goal is achieving a positive end result for clients. Leeora is able to decipher complex legal issues with the goal of communicating a broad range of possible remedies to clients in a manner that they can easily identify with and appreciate.

Erin graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario.
Erin delivers proactive and holistic human resource solutions to employers. Her employment law/human resources advice to employers includes advising on workplace policies, employment contracts, employment standards, human rights, occupational health and safety, and employee dismissals. In the unionized environment, she provides labour relations advice on a variety of issues including those relating to grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, certification applications, and unfair labour practice complaints.
During her undergraduate career at Cornell University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, Erin focused her studies on US labour and employment law. Her studies in the US have provided her with the foundation to assist American clients wishing to operate in Canada. Additionally, Erin was a member of the Women’s Varsity Track and Field team (NCAA Division I).
LEAD ADVISOR - LEGAL
Alexandra graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor.
Alexandra strives to collaborate with employers, providing strategic advice on a diverse range of human resources and employment law matters. Her advisory services include policy and procedure development, employment contracts, employment standards, human rights and employee dismissals.
Prior to joining e2r®, Alexandra completed her articles at a prominent “Bay Street” full-service law firm, and gained invaluable client-side experience as a Senior Human Resources Consultant at a national telecommunications company.
While at Windsor Law, she served as an executive member of the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), and was awarded the E. Lindsay Rogin Memorial Award for her feminist contribution and efforts.
LEAD ADVISOR - HUMAN RESOURCES
Kristi worked for an international organization in the beverage alcohol sector providing day-to-day human resources support within the Canadian market, as well as having worked for a large, international law firm prior to joining the e2r® team. Kristi brings a history of progressive HR experience with a focus on employee relations, performance management, recruitment strategies, and employee engagement.
Kristi is responsible for advising clients on various human resources matters including policy and procedure development, training and development, performance management, recruitment strategies, employee relations and employee engagement. Kristi is fully bilingual and manages all aspects of HR support for both French and English speaking clients.
Kristi is certified by the Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Resources Professional and is currently working towards attaining the Certified Human Resources Leader designation. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in French and History from Brock University and has completed a Human Resources Management Postgraduate Certificate from Seneca College.
Brady graduated from the Faculty of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Brady works closely with clients to provide timely and effective advice on all issues relating to labour and employment law. His employment law and human resources services include advice on best practices regarding employment contracts, disciplinary matters and human rights issues. In the unionized environment, Brady assists clients seeking to properly navigate unfair labour practice complaints, grievance arbitrations and collective bargaining.
Prior to joining e2r® , Brady completed his articles at a full-service mid-sized law firm. While there, he primarily worked with the firm’s labour and employment law group, gaining valuable client-management and advocacy experience.
While at Ogsoode Hall Law School, Brady acted as an executive member of the Osgoode Indigenous Students Association and worked with Pro Bono Students Canada on access to justice initiatives.
Meet the Real Team
Michelle joined the e2r® team in 2007 bringing with her many years of experience in human resources solutions consulting, sales, marketing, and public relations.
Prior to joining e2r® Michelle spent a number of years working in the human resources consulting industry assisting with the multiplicity of human resources challenges unique to small and medium sized businesses. This experience enabled Michelle to develop key skills that were crucial to providing effective solutions to her clients’ distinct challenges. During this time Michelle also cultivated her ability to identify and develop business opportunities as well as brand awareness through various advertising channels and public relations activities.
Michelle’s career has also included working in a human resources capacity, where her primary responsibilities included the development of national training and development programs, recruitment strategies, and a diverse range of public relations activities. This “hands on” foundation has truly enabled her to deeply understand and appreciate the human capital needs of our clients.
Currently, Michelle is responsible for managing all client services along with all administrative activities for e2r®. Michelle is committed to promoting the growth and development of e2r®, and most importantly ensuring that existing clients maximize their e2r® experience.
Michelle holds a BA in Communication Studies from Brock University.
Leah Di Domenico
MARKETING & SALES
Leah joined the e2r® team in 2012 bringing with her new perspectives and ideas providing a fresh outlook on marketing.
Initially Leah was responsible for handling e2r®’s marketing initiatives including the management of speaking engagements and conferences as well as all external marketing activities. She was also responsible for managing and updating e2r®’s website, social media platforms and marketing collateral.
At the start of 2017, Leah took on an exciting new position within the sales and business development side of e2r®. She now plays a key role in supporting the relationship with our business partners.
Leah holds a BAH in Communication Studies from York University as well as a diploma in both Advertising and Integrated Marketing from St. Lawrence College.
Prior to joining e2r® in early 2015, Stacy worked in the not-for-profit sector, allowing her to bring to e2r® a wide range of human resources knowledge and experience.
Stacy currently supports e2r® clients by providing internal administrative as well as human resources support and assistance. Stacy also manages the online presence by monitoring and maintaining the e2r® website and regularly updating our social media platforms. In understanding the ever changing trends, Stacy is able to pinpoint key areas of interest to e2r® and our clients in order to ensure effective utilization of technological trends, allowing e2r® to continually deliver up-to-date and important information to our clients.
In addition, Stacy manages e2r®’s continuing education program, wherein she oversees and coordinates all aspects of the e2r Alerts!, e-Learning webinars, online client portals, and client training programs. Stacy provides additional support and resources to the Business Development team in regularly updating and participating in marketing initiatives and collateral.
Stacy holds a Human Resources Management Diploma, with a focus in Business Administration from George Brown College.
Alexandra joined e2r® in late 2015, bringing with her many years of administrative experience, particularly focused in the legal field.
In joining e2r®, Alexandra brings a great deal of experience dealing with positive client relations and is committed to advancing that focus as a member of the Client Care team. Her dedication to supporting the needs of clients and ensuring the highest level of service at all times aids in the mission of the organization to provide exemplary service to all clients. Alexandra, as the lead member of the Client Care team, assists clients daily in ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner, while providing internal support to the Advisors. She regularly maintains and updated the e2r® database to ensure the accuracy of records and makes regular suggestions for improvements to core processes.
In addition to being a member of the Client Care team, Alexandra also provides administrative support and assistance to the Advisors regarding any litigation matters. She regularly consults with external agencies to conduct research and verify information.
Alexandra has studied Creative Advertising at Seneca College and is currently working towards her Certificate in Human Resources Management with the goal of becoming a CHRP.
Prior to joining e2r® in June 2016, Chynna worked in the journalism industry as an editor before deciding to switch her career path to human resources. She brings with her years of writing, social media, and communications experience to e2r®, allowing her to take on a wide range of projects with the organization.
Chynna currently provides her expertise to building and developing e2r®’s online and social media presence, in particular managing all social media platforms through regular updates and posts, bringing the latest HR and employment law news and topics to our growing number of followers. She also maintains all facets of the e2r® website, helping clients navigate their unique portals and ensuring all documents, resources, and information are updated and uploaded to the website regularly.
In addition to maintaining the online and social media presence, Chynna helps support e2r® clients by helping ensure their needs are met by providing internal administrative support, acting as a member of the Client Care team. Chynna also provides assistance to the human resources team through administration of e2r® training programs, as well as assisting with the management of human resources projects such as employee handbooks and medical files.
Chynna is working towards obtaining her Certified Human Resources Professional designation through the completion of her Human Resources Management certification. Chynna currently holds a Masters in Mass Communications and Journalism.
Meagan joined the e2r team in early 2017 bringing with her a wide range of experience in human resources and customer service. Her background in human resources has taken her across this country and back, putting her CHRP to the test, and continually growing her human resources knowledge and experience.
Meagan is primarily responsible for managing our employee handbook projects on behalf of clients and coordinating all client disability and medical files. In addition, Meagan provides the team with on-going administrative and human resources project support.
Meagan is certified by the Human Resources Professional Association as a Certified Human Resources Professional and is currently working towards attaining her Certified Human Resources Leader designation. Meagan holds a Human Resources Management Diploma from Conestoga College with a focus in Business Administration.
