Lesley is a seasoned labour and employment law professional, with over a decade of experience advising both federally and provincially regulated employers, including unionized workplaces. She has deep experience advising on labour and employee relations, regulatory compliance, HR policy, wrongful dismissals, workplace investigations, collective agreement and contract interpretation, and performance and attendance management.

With a strong legal and HR background, Lesley has an established track record of helping employers navigate complex workplace issues in a way that reflects their business realities and priorities, as well as their risk appetite. Lesley understands the importance of tailoring her advice to meet the unique needs of every employer.

Lesley is originally from Newfoundland and after graduating from Memorial University of Newfoundland, she attended Queen’s University, where she earned a combined Master of Industrial Relations and Juris Doctor. Lesley graduated as the Gold Medalist in her law class and since has been recognized by several of her former employers for her exceptional performance.

When she’s not chasing her two kids around, Lesley enjoys reading mysteries and thrillers, watching terrible reality tv, and doing yoga and Pilates.
